  • A Christmas Carol (2009) – 7/10: a Victorian-era miser taken on a journey of self-redemption, courtesy of several mysterious Christmas apparitions.
  • A Monster Calls (2016) – 9.5/10: The touching story of a young boy who struggles with his life as her mother’s illness turn worst everyday. He has to ask for the help of a monstrous tree to go through this tough time.
  • About time (2013) – 8.5/10: A romantic movie about the life of a guy who can go back in time and change what happened. He thought that he could control his life until he got married and what he does in the past will impact his present.
  • Aladdin (1992) – 8/10: The film is about A street thief falling in love with the princess of the kingdom. He mets a genie that grants him 3 wishes.
  • Alice in Wonderland (2010) – 6.5/10: The adventure of Alice in a magical land named Wonderland where she meets new friends and help them ending the Red Queen’s reign of terror.
  • Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016) – 7.5/10: Alice returns to the Wonderland and go for a trip through time to find out the truth about Mad Hatter’s family.
  • Alvin and the chipmunks (2007) – 5/10: (I just can’t remember what this film was about so this is not really my interpretation) A frustrated song writer finds success when we works with 3 singing chipmunks who had had to leave their treehouse.
  • Alvin and the chipmunks 2 (2009) – X/10: (Seriously I have no idea what these films were about): The chipmunks were up against a rival female music group known as The Chipettes.
  • Alvin and the chipmunks 3 (2011) – X/10: (I really don’t think that I’ve finished this film, sorry I have to copy what IMDB said) Playing around while aboard a cruise ship, the Chipmunks and Chipettes accidentally go overboard and end up marooned in a tropical paradise.
  • Amour (2012) – 7.5/10: Georges and Anne are an octogenarian couple. One day, Anne has a stroke, and the couple’s bond of love is severely tested.
  • Annabelle (2014) – 5/10: The story around a vintage doll bringing bad lucks and tragedy to whoever owns it and this doll is cursing a family’s child.
  • Another Cinderella Story (2008)- 6/10: Basically it’s just a remake of the Cinderella story in present day. Instead of dropping the slipper, this Cinderella forgot her music player.
  • Ant-Man (2015) – 9/10: A burglar is given a suit that allows him to shrink into the side of an ant but increasing his strength. With the help of a scientist, he has to embrace his inner hero and try to save the world from a man who plans to use the same technology for his personal purpose.
  • Assassin’s creed (2016) – 7/10: Callum Lynch explores his past and the destiny of his ancestor who was the head of an Assassins League. With the help of innovative technology, he discovers his assassin skills and take on the oppressive organisation in the present day.
  • Astro Boy (2009) – 6/10: Set in the future, the movie is around a robotic boy who was created by a scientist in the hope of replacing his lost son but then he was rejected by him. He went to search for his identity and end up becoming the city’s hero from defeating the aliens.
  • Avatar (2009) – 7.5/10: A paraplegic marine was sent to a different world with a mission. As he spend more time in that world, he becomes torn between following the order and saving the world that he now feels home. He then realises the greediness of his commander and stands up to fight for his community.
  • Avengers (2012) – 7/10: A group of super heroes comes together and learns to stop aliens from taking over the Earth and from enslaving humanity.
  • Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) – 7.5/10: Things go wrong when Tony Stark/ Iron Man have tries to create a peace-keeping program which becomes a villain threatening humanity. The Avengers comes together once again the protect the world by recruiting new heroes and by resolving their own problems.

  • Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) – 7/10: Fearing that the action of Superman isn’t under control, Batman decides to take on the Man of Steel. On another hand, Lex Luthor creates a creature that can terminate Superman.
  • Beauty and the Beast (1991 – 3D 2012) – 7/10: The fantastic and romantic journey of young and bright Bella, taking his father’s place, imprisoned by the Beast in the castle.
  • Beauty and the Beast (2017) – 8/10: Live action adaptation of the original story.
  • Bedtime Stories (2008) – 7.5/10: A hotel handyman’s life changes when he finds out that everything his niece and his nephew tell in beds comes true and happens for him. He tries to control the story but then threatened by the unexpected ending of the story told by the children.
  • Big Hero 6 (2014) – 9/10: Taken place in  San Fransokyo, Hiro Hamada grows a special bond with a plus-sized inflatable robot named Baymax. With his intelligence in technology, he teams up with friends to form a super-hero team.
  • Big Mamma 2 (2006) – X/10: ( I watched this film when I was a little child so I don’t remember the storyline) An FBI agent reprises his disguise as an old lady and takes a job as a nanny in a crime suspect’s house.
  • Blended (2014) – 5.5/10: After a awkward blind date, a man and a woman found themselves stuck together at a resort in South Africa with their children. On this trip, their children benefit from the affection of the missing parents.
  • Bolt (2008) – 6.5/10: A super star dog, famously known for his role of having super powers in the movies., thinks that his powers are real until he’s gone for a trip cross-country and then he realizes that he doesn’t need super power to be a hero.
  • Boyhood (2014) – 7/10: This movie is about the life of Mason, 12 year old boy from his early childhood until his arrival at college.
  • Brave (2012) – 6.5/10: Determined by making her own path in life, princess Merida accidently creates chaos in the kingdom. She must rely on her bravery and her archery skills to undo a curse.
  • Bride Wars (2009) – 8/10: Two best friends become rivals when their weddings are scheduled on the same day at the same place.
  • Bridge to Terabithia (2007) – 6/10: This movie is about two kids in a small town who imagine a whole new fantasy world with monsters, knights and giants just for them to escape the reality. Together, they stood up against the bullies at school and the girl taught him to let the mind guide him.
  • Brother Bears (2003) – 6/10: When a young hunter unintentionally kills a bear, he is transformed into a bear as punishment and then he ask for help from other animals to get to the moutain where he can be back human.

  • Cabin in the Woods (2012) – 6.5/10: A group of friends go for a break on a cabin in the woods when many unexpected things happen. They must discover together the secret behind this cabin.
  • Cadet Kelly (2002) – 4/10: A fashion-conscious youngster is horrified when she is forced to move to military school.
  • Camp Rock (2008) – 5.5/10At a music camp for gifted teens, a popular teen idol overhears a girl singing and sets out to find who the talented voice belongs to.
  • Camp rock 2: The Final Jam (2010) – 6/10: This summer, a new rival music camp sets up next to Camp Rock and threatens the existence of Camp Rock. Mitchie and her friends has to participate in a music competition in order to keep her camp.
  • Captain America: The first avengers (2011) – 6/10: Steve Rogers, a rejected military soldier transforms into Captain America after taking a special serum. He have to protect the country and take down a terrorist organization.
  • Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) – 9.5/10: As Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world, he teams up with another agent to battle a new threat from the past, the Winter Soldier.
  • Captain America: Civil War (2016) – 9/10: The Goverment enforces the Hero Registration Act, a law that limits a hero’s actions and pu them under control. This results in a division in The Avengers and they have to overcome themselves to stand for what they believe.
  • Cars (2006) – 7/10: A famous race car named Lighting McQueen gets waylaid in a small town who is forgotten day by day. And in this small town, mcQueen learns the true meaning of friendship and family.
  • Cars 2 (2011) – 6/10: Star race car Lightning McQueen and his pal Mater head overseas to compete in the World Grand Prix race. But the road to the championship becomes rocky as they encounter many unexpected events.
  • Castle in the sky (1986) – 8.5/10: A young boy and a girl with a magic crystal must race against pirates and foreign agents in a search for a legendary floating castle.
  • Chappie (2015) – 7/10: In the future, crimes are patrolled by a mechanized robot. When Chappie is stolen and being reprogrammed, he becomes the first robot who can feel and think a human being.

  • Cinderalla (2015) – 8/10: Live-action version of the original story Cinderella.
  • Click (2006) – 8/10: A father found a universal remote that allows him to control time however he likes, even fast foward or rewind to his past. Complications arise when the remote starts to overrule his choice and brings many consequences to his life.
  • Cloudy with a chance of meatballs (2009) – 7/10: A local scientist is often regarded as a failure until he creates a machine that can make any type of food fall from the sky. Little does he knows, he becomes unable to deal with the consequences.
  • Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2 (2013) – 6/10: Flint now works in a company run by his idol but he has to leave when we finds out that the head of the company is looking for the machine in order to create animal-food creatures.
  • Coraline (2009) – 7.5/10: A little girl finds another world that is strangely like what she always wants from her frustrating home. But in order to stay in this world, she has to face some secrets.
